Terms of Service
1. Who we are
EasyApply ("the Service") is operated by Yan Izmer, a natural person established in Poland ("we", "us"). Contact: support@easyapply.com. Persons assisting in operating the Service act under our authorisation and are bound by confidentiality. By creating an account you enter into a contract with us on these Terms; the Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
2. The Service
EasyApply is a job-application platform: it stores your professional profile, uses artificial intelligence to generate CVs and cover letters tailored to job postings you provide, evaluates keyword match against those postings, searches job offers, and tracks your applications, tasks, interviews and networking contacts.
3. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- Provide accurate information and keep your password confidential; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- One account per person. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, transferred or resold.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) access the Service by automated means or scrape it; (b) attempt to bypass usage limits, metering or security measures; (c) upload unlawful content or content that infringes third-party rights; (d) use the Service to provide document-generation services to third parties without our consent; (e) probe, overload or disrupt the Service's infrastructure. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules (see section 12).
5. Your content
Everything you enter (profile, job postings, notes, contact log) and every document generated for you remains yours. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to store and process this content solely to provide the Service — including transmitting the relevant parts to our AI providers to generate your documents, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not use your content to train AI models and we never sell it. If you store information about other people (for example recruiters in your contact log), you are responsible for having a lawful basis to do so.
6. Our intellectual property
The Service — its software, design, CV templates and the EasyApply name — is our property or used under licence. These Terms grant you a personal, non-transferable right to use the Service; they transfer no rights in the Service itself. Documents generated from your data are yours to use without restriction.
7. AI-generated content
CVs, cover letters, requirement analyses and scores are generated by AI from the facts you provide. AI assists you — it does not replace your judgment. The system is designed never to invent facts about you and generated output passes automated checks, but AI can make mistakes. Review every document before sending it; you are its author and remain responsible for its accuracy. See the AI Disclaimer. We do not guarantee interviews, responses or employment outcomes.
8. Plans, billing and Paddle
Available plans and their usage limits are described at /pricing. Paid subscriptions, once available for purchase, are sold and processed by Paddle as merchant of record: Paddle is the seller of record for the transaction, handles payment, invoicing and applicable VAT, and its checkout terms apply to the purchase itself. Usage limits are enforced by the Service; only successful generations count against limits. Until checkout is enabled, accounts operate on the free plan at no charge. Cancellation, renewal and refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.
9. Conformity and consumer rights
If you are a consumer, you are entitled to a Service that conforms to the contract, in accordance with the Polish Consumer Rights Act implementing Directive (EU) 2019/770 on digital content and digital services. If the Service does not conform, you may demand that it be brought into conformity and, where the law so provides, a price reduction or termination of the contract. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you hold under mandatory consumer law.
10. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available and functioning correctly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability; maintenance, updates and failures may cause temporary interruptions. Where an interruption is significant, section 9 applies to consumers.
11. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage or lost profits arising from use of the Service, and our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim. This limitation does not apply to damage caused intentionally, to liability that cannot be limited under Polish law, or to your statutory consumer rights.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request deletion of your account and data by writing to support@easyapply.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially violate section 4, giving prior notice where reasonably possible; for consumers, termination by us requires a valid reason communicated with the notice.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms for valid reasons (legal changes, new features, security). Material changes will be announced at least 14 days in advance within the Service and, where we hold your address, by e-mail. If you do not accept the changes, you may terminate before they take effect; continued use afterwards constitutes acceptance.
14. Language, governing law and disputes
These Terms and the other legal documents are drawn up in Polish and English. For consumers habitually resident in Poland the Polish version prevails; for all other users the English version prevails. These Terms are governed by Polish law; if you are a consumer, you also enjoy the mandatory protections of the law of your habitual residence. Disputes can be brought before the competent common courts. Consumers may also use out-of-court dispute resolution: in Poland, the Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa) and municipal/district consumer ombudsmen; information is available from UOKiK at uokik.gov.pl.
